The RNN Group is conducting Preliminary Market Engagement in advance of their tender for a network infrastructure redesign. The Group are seeking supplier input on best practice, technologies, and delivery approaches to ensure that the solution is modern, secure, and scalable.
At a minimum, the project will replace all access points and switches. The Group also invites proposals for additional improvements, including:
•Network architecture and topology redesign
•Core and edge switching infrastructure upgrades
•Wireless infrastructure and heatmapping
•Security enhancements, resilience and redundancy
•Network monitoring and automation
The engagement will include:
1.Registration of Interest – suppliers confirm participation.
2.Supplier briefing – overview of current environment and objectives.
3.Site Visits/Surveys – suppliers assess existing infrastructure.
4.Proposals – suppliers submit non-binding recommendations and budgetary input.
5.Discussions – optional follow-up meetings to clarify proposals.
The Group aims to refine its technical requirements, gain indicative costings, and ensure that the tender is commercially viable.
No contract will be awarded as a direct result of this engagement. Participation in this process will not confer any advantage or disadvantage to any participant in any subsequent procurement.
Information shared by suppliers during this engagement will be provided on a non-confidential basis, unless explicitly identified as commercially sensitive.
